Tough straight chrome deposits for abrasive, erosive
and corrosive applications.
Chromium Carbides in a tough matrix.
• Grind worn/fatigued metal.
• Preheat 13% chrome steels to 200–300 °C.
• Use AC/DC+; chip slag between passes.
• Maintain interpass temp at 200 °C.
• Heat treat/stress relieve at 580–620 °C.
• Refinery plugs and sockets.
• Impeller pump sleeves.
• Turbine runners and buckets.
• Sugar mill trash plates and fibrizer anvils.
