PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:
TUFALOY 4500X is a specially developed anti-wear electrode with stainless steel core wire, designed to deliver optimum chemistry for high toughness and ductility. Its advanced core wire and coating formulation provide a crack-resistant, fully austenitic weld deposit free from intergranular carbides. The electrode is ideal for heavy impact, rolling friction, and abrasion conditions, particularly as a base layer for manganese steels and railway points & crossings.

• Hot peening of weld bead recommended to convert tensile stresses into compressive stresses.
• Electrode runs on both AC and DC+ power sources.
