Product Specification
• Ferro-nickel weld deposit for strength and ductility
• Suitable for grey, nodular, and mixed joints (cast iron to steel)
• Excellent machinability
• Low heat input welding to minimize distortion and cracking
• Applicable for a wide range of cast iron grades (GG 10–GG 40, GTS 35–GTW 70, GGG 40–GGG 80)
• Ferro-nickel alloy with balanced elements for crack resistance, strength, and machinability.
• Thoroughly clean the weld area and remove all oil and grease before starting.
• Preheating is not necessary, but heavy and complex sections should be preheated to 100°C – 200°C.
• Machine beds, pump casings, valve bodies, valve flanges, bell housings, motor covers, friction press discs, and repairs on various cast iron grades.
• Use short-length weld beads (up to 50 mm).
• Peen the weld deposits while hot to reduce stresses.
• Post-Welding: Allow slow cooling after welding using insulating materials such as vermiculite or heat-retardant blankets.
