Product Specification
• Work-hardening weld deposit for high impact and wear resistance.
• Resists shrinkage and thermal stress.
• Performs well on armour, manganese, and heat resistant steels.
• Austenitic Cr-Ni-Mn composition; high Mn for work hardening, Cr for corrosion resistance, Ni for toughness.
• Gouge out or grind worn, damaged, and fatigued metal or cracks before welding.
• Preheat is generally not required, except for very heavy sections.
• Use minimal weaving to achieve a flat, well-washed bead.
• For manganese steel base metal keep temperature below 200oC
• Welding/cladding of armour plate, manganese wear parts, AISI 301/304/308, and repair of buckets, shovels, tools, crane wheels, and buffer layers.
