Highly alloyed anti-wear electrode with excellent toughness and work hardening properties for impact conditions.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:

Highly alloyed anti-wear electrode designed for overlaying, cushioning and building up low/medium carbon steels, low alloy steels, and Hadfield maganese steels. The deposit is extremely tough, resists deformation under repeated pounding, and rapidly work-hardens during service under impact conditions.

• Gouge out/grind worn and fatigued metal before welding.
• Use AC/DC+ power source.
• Apply short, stringer beads; chip slag and peen deposits while hot.
• Do not allow manganese steel temperature to exceed 250 °C.
