Pre-alloyed tubular rod filled with coarse tungsten carbide for extreme wear protection hardfacing.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:

• Special pre-alloyed tube with coarsely grained tungsten carbide (FTC).
• FTC hardness exceeds 2360 HV for exceptional wear resistance.
• Designed for unalloyed, low alloyed, or cast steels up to 0.45% C.

Product Specification

• Extreme abrasion and impact resistance.
• Long service life for hardfaced components.
• Suitable for repair or new part protection.

• Coarsely grained tungsten carbide (FTC) embedded in pre-alloyed steel tube matrix.
• Hardness: >2360 HV.

• Clean area of rust, scale, grease, or contamination.
• Use brazing torch with neutral to slightly carburizing flame.
• Hold nozzle at shallow angle; avoid direct contact with flame center.
• Slightly wet work area to prevent overheating.
• Preheat base metal between 350–500 °C depending on size and composition.
