Product Specification
• Excellent impact wear resistance.
• Can be used with an austenitic buffer layer.
• Crack-resistant deposits for demanding applications.
• ~14% Mn, with Cr alloying, austenitic matrix, workhardens to ~470 BHN.
• Gouge out or grind worn, damaged, and fatigued metal or cracks before welding.
• Use minimal weaving to achieve a flat, well-washed bead.
• For manganese steel base metal keep temperature below 200°C
• Repair and hardfacing of manganese steel buckets, shovels, crane wheels, undercarriage parts, crusher jaws, swing hammers, railway crossings, and dredger buckets.
