Diffusion Engineers Limited (DEL), a pioneer in the field of industrial maintenance and super-conditioning, has been recognized with the prestigious ‘India SME 100 Award’, a mark of excellence for small and medium enterprises in India. The award was conferred by Union Transport and MSME Minister Nitin Gadkari at a special ceremony held in New Delhi, organized by the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME). Representing the company at the event, Mr. Prashant Garg, Director of DEL, proudly received the award on behalf of the team. This recognition holds special significance as Diffusion Engineers is the only company from Nagpur to secure this honor and one among just 20 winners from Maharashtra, selected across diverse industry sectors.
The India SME 100 Awards are highly competitive, with over 34,000 nominations received from across the country. Out of this massive pool, only the top 100 enterprises were chosen by a distinguished panel of jurors. The jury evaluated companies on a balanced mix of financial and non-financial indicators, ensuring that winners demonstrated not only growth and profitability but also innovation, governance, people management, and global outlook. Some of the respected names on the jury included Prahlad Kakar, renowned advertising and branding guru; JS Juneja, former Chairman and CEO of the National Small Industries Corporation; Sunil Alagh, former MD and CEO of Britannia; and Ajay Thakur, Head of BSE SME. Their collective expertise ensured a robust and credible evaluation process.
